We are all very excited about our week long Thanksgiving Break! We hope it is a time to relax and enjoy family and friends. In class students have been hard at work studying all about the thirteen original colonies. The week after the break we will have a map quiz over the colonies on Thursday, December 1st. Students were given the information for this quiz on Wednesday. On Friday, December 2nd students will be sharing their Colonial America projects.

What a Week!

It has been quite a week! We started the week by electing a new president and ended the week by celebrating Veteran’s Day! In the readers theatre War Stories students heard stories of veterans who had served in various wars. We finished the class by making cards to share with veterans we know or to send to veterans in the VA Hospitals.
